This returns policy applies to all products sold by Le Cosinus<\/strong>, whether the order was placed directly on our online shop (https:\/\/www.lecosinus.fr<\/a>) or following an accepted quote (order by email, telephone or purchase order).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Given the technical nature and often heavy weight of the electrical equipment we distribute (transformers, autotransformers, etc.), we apply strict rules regarding returns in order to guarantee the quality and safety of our products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Mandatory prior procedure (For all customers)<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

No return of goods will be accepted without our prior written agreement.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before returning a product, you must contact our customer service to validate the return request: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If the return is authorised, we will provide you with the procedure to follow and the shipping address. Any parcel sent spontaneously without prior agreement will be systematically refused or held at your disposal without refund. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Conditions regarding the condition of equipment<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Regardless of the reason for the return or the type of customer, returned products must comply with the following conditions: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. New condition:<\/strong> The product must be in its original condition, complete (accessories, instructions), and in its original undamaged packaging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Never installed or energised:<\/strong> For electrical safety and traceability reasons, we do not accept any return of equipment that has been wired, screwed to terminals or energised<\/strong>, even briefly. Any signs of installation (screw marks on terminals, scratches on fixings) will result in immediate refusal of the refund.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      3. Policy for Professional Customers (B2B)<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      In accordance with the provisions of the French Commercial Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to relations between professionals. However, Le Cosinus<\/strong> may, on an exceptional and commercial basis, accept the return of standard equipment subject to the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • Markdown (Restocking fee):<\/strong> Any return accepted for personal convenience (customer ordering error, change of mind) will be subject to a minimum markdown of 40%<\/strong> on the equipment price excl. VAT. This markdown covers administrative costs, technical inspection, repackaging and restocking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Reconditioning costs:<\/strong> If, upon inspection at receipt, the equipment is not in strictly new condition (damaged packaging, minor marks not compromising functionality), additional reconditioning costs will be deducted from the refund, in addition to the 40% markdown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Transport:<\/strong> Return shipping costs are exclusively borne by the professional customer. Transport is at the customer's own risk (we recommend insuring the shipment).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        4. Policy for Consumer Customers (B2C)<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer customer has a period of 14 days<\/strong> from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        • Refund:<\/strong> In the event of a valid withdrawal, we will refund the product price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Return costs:<\/strong> Return costs remain entirely borne by the customer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Liability:<\/strong> The customer is liable for any depreciation of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product. The electrical installation of a component (wiring) exceeds this scope and voids the right of return.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          5. Exclusion from the right of return: Custom-made products<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal (for consumers) and the commercial return option (for professionals) are strictly excluded<\/strong> for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • Products made to the customer's specifications (custom-made).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Clearly personalised products (voltage modifications, specific windings, options fitted on request).\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            These products will not be taken back, exchanged or refunded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            6. Delivery error or Defective product<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            If the return is due to an error on our part (wrong product delivered) or a proven defect of conformity: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \n
            • Shipping costs:<\/strong> The customer must advance the return shipping costs. Upon presentation of proof, Le Cosinus<\/strong> will reimburse the shipping costs up to the amount estimated by our logistics department for a standard shipment (we do not reimburse surcharges for express deliveries such as Chronopost 24h).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Limitation of liability (Indirect costs):<\/strong> Our liability is strictly limited to the replacement or refund of the defective equipment. Ancillary costs incurred by the customer, such as removal, reinstallation, labour, travel or equipment hire costs, remain entirely borne by the customer and will not be subject to any compensation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
