Custom Transformers

Le Cosinus is one of the companies with the most diversified transformer production range, still manufactured in France. We are therefore a major player in our field.

Custom product manufacturing is therefore one of our specialties. We are able to manufacture custom isolation transformers, in copper or aluminium, and adapt them to the needs of all our customers, in record time!

We also offer transformers supplied directly with their electrical protection. These configurations are very regularly requested by our customers, whether manufacturers or installers of special-purpose machines or machine tools.

We can install fuses on the transformers or in an external enclosure, front-mounted, which facilitates final installation and keeps the electrical protection away from heat. These cabinets, known as add-on enclosures, can then house circuit breakers, fuses, isolators, earthing terminals or other specific customer requests.

We also offer to supply connection cables with crimped lugs, sized to match the transformer power rating.

For the chemical and nuclear industries, we regularly produce very low voltage power transformers with high currents reaching several hundred amperes, and sometimes even one thousand amperes!

For the naval industry, we have developed a product range known as "Marine Group". These transformers consist of three single-phase transformers coupled in three-phase configuration, plus a spare transformer. This way, if a failure were to occur far from the vessel's home port, the ship's technicians would always have a quick repair solution by simply modifying the coupling.

Naturally, these products can be subject to Veritas certification if the customer requires it.
