Three-phase rectified direct current power supplies, manufactured in-house by Le Cosinus, have been proven for over 25 years. With an attractive, compact design and outstanding robustness, they are available in multiple power ratings and voltages.

The supply voltage generally used in the electrical industry is 400V three-phase. This is why we offer a product range covering this voltage. Regarding the direct current output, 48V or 24V is generally required, or more rarely 12V — these being safety voltages.

The rectification of three-phase alternating voltage into direct current is achieved using a three-phase bridge rectifier. These diodes are used in linear mode to filter the direct current. This results in a ripple rate of approximately 5%, which is sufficient for standard industrial applications, and avoids the need for capacitors thanks to the use of the three-phase bridge.
