The single-phase voltage regulator, also known as a variable autotransformer, is a component designed to adjust an alternating voltage from 0 to 230V while maintaining a constant current.
The models shown cover a wide range of power ratings, from a few hundred VA to several kVA. They are available with manual knob regulation or motorised regulation for remote control. These regulators can be mounted in metal enclosures to protect users from electrical contacts.
Based on a low-loss toroidal core, these single-phase variable autotransformers are characterised by their robustness, high adjustment resolution and ability to produce no distortion of the sinusoidal signal. The winding, protected by epoxy resin, benefits from good thermal dissipation and protection against environmental aggression.
